Obama: Seat Florida

Word on the street.

Barack Obama plans a campaign stop in Maitland, Florida on May 21.

For us Central Florida Frogs, that's a huge deal.

The vague rumor surfaced through one of my many email groups last week and the May 9th
edition of the Orlando Sentinel confirmed the visit

Oh and also...

Obama also mentioned that the Florida delegates would be seated.

Barack Obama, growing confident he will be the Democratic presidential nominee, promised a group of uncommitted superdelegates Thursday that Florida's delegation will be counted at the party's national convention this summer.

"He assured us that Florida delegates will be at the convention, and they'll have their party hats on," Rep. Tim Mahoney, D- Palm Beach Gardens and an uncommitted superdelegate, reported from the meeting.

(...)

Mahoney said Obama "still has concerns that the primary didn't reflect how well he could have done if he had campaigned in the state."

Ain't it the truth, ain't it the truth!

Keep your eye on Mahoney to Super-D over to Obama sometime soon.

Just a hunch.
