Brevard's Ottis Toole Connection

Another Florida blogger weighs in on Ottis Tootle, detailing his Brevard County connection with Adam Walsh and the recently exonerated William Dillion and believe me, that scenario is just the icing on the old corruption cake.....

Although shoe throwing is more dramatic and all the rage, I can only drop one instead. It may be a harmless baby shoe, having nothing to do with more than 60 wrongful convictions in Brevard County, or it may be a steel-toed monster boot that links the Sheriff's office to the prosecutor's office and the judiciary in deploying bogus crime scene dog handler John Preston in 60 felony cases as well as setting up the testimony of coached jailhouse informants like James E. Gilmore, Clarence Zacke and Roger Dale Chapman.

Judge John Dean Moxley, Jr. was once known as Brevard prosecutor Dean Moxley. He helped prosecute Juan Ramos (acquitted at retrial) and Wilton Dedge (DNA exonerated), using Preston, Gilmore and Zacke. Until last year, Vicki Clark served as Moxley's assistant, dating back to his days as a prosecutor.

Vicki Clark is married to Ron Clark, former Chief Deputy of the Brevard Sheriff's Office. It could be that the Clarks never discussed work at home; it could be that Ron wasn't employed with the Sheriff's Office for the entire time Vicki served as Moxey's assistant. Shoe-dropping speculation is indeed a poor substitute for a no-holds-barred investigation, and I've been asking for one longer than Wilton Dedge has.

Gov. Bush said "No" to an investigation of Brevard's conspicuous wrongdoing; Gov. Crist, through Warren Davis, is now saying, "Maybe."

The following e-mail trail portrays a shoe that has already hit the floor, with its size and shape also yet to be determined. I'm awaiting confirmation that the DNA on the bloody T-shirt used to convict Bill Dillon included that of serial killer Ottis Toole. The DNA exluded Dillon and charges were recently dropped, after he'd served 27 years behind bars. John Walsh's family has been waiting for answers on young Adam Walsh's brutal slaying just as long as the Dillon family for Bill's innocence to be acknowledged, and it sadly doesn't appear to have been coincidental.

Since that follow-up e-mail, John Walsh announced that investigators now have no doubts that his son Adam was abducted and slain by serial killer Ottis Toole, the details of which place Toole in the vicinity of Canova Beach when James Dvorak was bludgeoned to death. It takes little imagination to place a gay man at Indian Harbour Beach's known hot-spot of homosexual activity, and even less imagination to attribute such brutality to Toole rather than Bill Dillon, whom DNA pointed away from and against whom Preston and Roger Dale Chapman had been deployed to testify falsely, supplementing misrepresented blood evidence and other deplorable tactics. The timing of dropping the charges against Dillon and informing Walsh that Toole was indeed young Adam's killer suggests the Walsh and Dillon families were deliberately held in protracted, hellish suspense to protect malfeasant public servants.

Please ask Gov. Crist to author an Executive Order naming a special prosecutor immediately and request that the legislature fast-track Dillon's compensation claim. Brevard's scores of victims of bogus experts, coached jailhouse informants and misrepresented evidence --
